  • What roles are there to apply for?
At the beginning of your SFIC journey, you can pick whether to be apart of the Asset Management Division as a Junior Analyst or the Quantitative Division as a Software Developer.
  • What roles are available in the Quant Division?
Currently, we are still in the process of setting up the foundational projects for the division, so we are only recruiting for software developer roles. Once the projects are complete, we will be looking to recruit Quant researchers.
  • What does being a Software Developer look like at SFIC?
As a software developer, you will be assigned tasks by the technical manager, and you will collaborate with a different developer as well as the senior developer assigned to mentor you to complete the tasks. It is expected that developers will set aside 4-6 hours per week for SFIC activities. This will include attending Quant division meetings, SFIC general meetings, and working on coding tasks.
  • Are there opportunities for cross-functional collaboration within the organization?
Yes! We encourage members to explore different areas of the organization to see what fits their interests the most.
